MArch NEwsletter part 2
Hi hiiiiiii,
We hope this email finds you grounded and cheerful that spring is here!!! We have had a slow season moving out of winter and are collectively looking forward to sunshine, flowers, and all things spring. We know, that is a lot considering the state of the world and we are holding what we can, + doing what we can.
Walking Group has started back up, we are looking forward to Black Elder Garden Days, the kick off of our Community Event Series : Earth Day is next month, and continued community care. We haven’t had a big celebration honoring the six years of this work and hopefully we will be able to add that to the agenda in this next year. In the meantime we are enjoying seeing community and continuing our robust body of work!
Spring Break : We are closed this week for Spring Break, which means we do not have Market tomorrow. Regular service will resume next week!
Mass Call : March 31st at 5:30pm : We are hosting another call with Imagine Black to discuss Immigration in our community, how this impacts us all, and what we can do to show up. Please join us, this is open to anyone who is interested in community issues and wants to help our collective.
EGC Virtual Giving Party : April 14th at 6pm : Please join us for a virtual Giving Party. This is a great space to come learn more about EGC’s work and how you can support and help sustain this work! Bring a friend!
You can see all of our events on our website under the event tab! We love to see ya’ll out + about !
Sign up as a monthly donor : We are ALWAYS in need of more folks to sign up as monthly donors. We have over 30K folks that intentionally follow our work through social media + this newsletter list. If a quarter of you signed up as monthly donors we would be able to increase our service impact, hire more staff, and be in a better position to buy a building. We have proven that our model is possible, sustainable, and consistent. We need all of you to lean in farther with us.

Please keep an eye out for some notes from our Board Members, in the spirit of rallying more recurring donors they are working on some story telling to tell you all why they are committed to this work!
With care,
The EGC Crew
