We are proud to partner with
Pablo Munoz Farms to provide our Community Supported Agriculture boxes for BIPOC families in the Portland Metropolitan Area.
We were told many times this project was impossible — not only to supply community shared agriculture boxes to BIPOC families but to only buy farm shares from BIPOC farmers. Three years later, our program remains one of the most successful and unique farm share programs in Oregon. EGC is changing the food box culture and reclaiming the CSA model–a model that was crafted by a Black man, Booker T. Whatley.
