Equitable Giving Circle provides services to over 2,500 people annually, providing an array of effective programming throughout the Portland metro area. Our work in Food Justice, Housing Stability, and Community Wellness is designed to meet the needs of our community and help women, children and families thrive. There are many ways to get involved with EGC:

Our work is scalable

With your support, EGC can reach our goal of continuing to build out our programs and ultimately support more BIPOC Portlanders through our three pillars of work:

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA): Our flagship program is providing CSA boxes from BIPOC farmers to BIPOC families as part of our efforts to end food insecurity in Portland. Learn more below and find out how to support this program.

Community Wellness: When we talk about wellness at EGC, we are talking about more than just an individual’s physical health. In our wellness programs, we focus on addressing and building Community Wellness through educational events, social events, plant donation through our Plant Jam, and direct care packages.

Housing: We view our housing assistance program as part of our larger racial justice and mutual aid efforts in Portland. We want to support long-term equity building within the Portland BIPOC community, and we know that providing immediate housing assistance is a major part of the solution.
